Delete Your Account & Data

You can permanently delete your Vesica Academy account and the personal data associated with it. There are two ways to do it, and you do not need an active subscription to delete.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (instant)

If you can sign in, this is the fastest way and takes effect immediately:

Open the app and sign in.
Go to Profile.
Tap Delete My Account & Data and confirm.

Your profile, certification, matches, and messages are erased from our live systems right away.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email (no sign-in needed)

If you can't sign in — you lost access, never confirmed your email, or deleted the app — email us and we'll delete your account for you:

Send it from, or tell us, the email address on your account so we can locate it.

We verify the request comes from the account owner, then delete it. We complete verified requests within 30 days (usually much sooner).

What gets deleted

Your account and profile, photos, bio and prompts, Love-Language result and Academy progress, certification and verification status, matches and messages, likes/passes, saved profiles, and your subscription/Pearls records tied to the account. Deleting the account also removes the reciprocal match/message rows held by people you matched with, and releases your email so it can't be re-identified.

What may be retained, and for how long

Encrypted backups: residual copies expire within 30 days of deletion.
Safety reports: may be kept in de-identified form to protect other members.
Records we're legally required to keep (for example, tax/payment records) may be retained by our payment processor for the period the law requires. We never see or store full card numbers.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Unused Pearls and any remaining subscription time are forfeited when the account closes.
